<p><strong>How did you two meet or how did you propose?: </strong><br>
   He proposed on a Sunday morning; he cooked me pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, because he lost a bet about a tv show we were watching (I think it was Homeland).  Halfway through the pancakes, he brought in a red case and said &quot;this is for you when you're done eating.&quot;  As I was opening it, he got down on one knee and proposed.  The ring was gorgeous, and -still to this day- he's the one person who is always able to surprise me! </p>
<p><strong>How did you find your venue? Were you happy with it?:</strong> <br>
   We found Western Skies through a web search: it was close to our house, and we liked that it was all-inclusive (while still giving us a lot of options for food and decor, all at an awesome price).  After we visited the site, met with Laura and Ashley, and had a food tasting, we were sold.  I know that people always say that everything about their wedding day was perfect, but for us, it truly was.  It was a great setting for both the ceremony (outdoor) and reception (indoor), and the staff took care of everything.  And the food?  My favorite.  Especially the chili mac and cheese.  </p>
<p><strong>Describe the theme or color schem</strong><strong>e of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception:<br>
</strong>We kind of ended up with a vintage/classic theme, with a navy, gold and champagne color palette.  The centerpieces were wine bottles that had been turned into vases (with white flowers and gold accent candles).  Really simple, but we didn't need much else to complement the white linens.</p>
<p><strong>What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day?: </strong><br>
   Don't lose yourself in the details!  Focus on the reason for the day: you get to marry your love in front of all the people you both care about, and then have a big dance party afterwards.  No one will remember what color the flowers were, but they will remember the fun they had.  </p>
