<p><strong>How did you two meet or how did you propose?: </strong><br>
   Preston and I took a trip to be in Disneyland for the 4th of July. While we were there that afternoon, Preston suggested we get a caricature done. We went and found a booth that did that and Preston had me go sit down in front of the easel while he went and “paid.” Little did I know he was actually explaining to the artist how he was going to propose to me. Once the artist was finished drawing, he flipped it around for me to see our wonderful caricature with “Will you marry me?” drawn in the corner! Then Preston got down on one knee and asked me to marry him; I of course said yes and he gave me the engagement ring! It was an amazing moment, everyone around us clapped and cheered and it was awesome to feel all of their excitement along with our own. Then, a couple of Disney cast members ran up to us to congratulate us and gave us two special Disney pins that said “Happily Ever After” on them. It was such a magical moment! </p>
<p><strong>How did you find your venue? Were you happy with it?:</strong> <br>
   My parents actually suggested it! They had heard about Boojum Tree from a friend who had been to a wedding there. One day we were all driving around together looking at venues and on a whim we decided to go to the open house at Boojum. My husband and I instantly fell in love with it! We are incredibly happy that we ended up having our wedding at Boojum Tree! 	</p>
<p><strong>Describe the theme or color schem</strong><strong>e of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: <br>
</strong>The color scheme for our wedding was ivory and different shades of purple. For our table settings at the reception, we wanted to go with something simple, but still pretty. At each table, we had a short piece of wood with a glass vase sitting on top of it. Inside the vase was a candle and little purple flowers surrounding it. We had rose petals sprinkled around this and one wedding favor for each place setting. </p>
<p><strong>What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day?: </strong><br>
   Start doing everything as soon as possible; don’t wait till the last minute!! No matter how many months you have till the big day, time will fly by and the big day will be here before you know it! Planning details and booking vendors early is way easier and much less stressful. My husband and I were engaged for about a year and a half before the wedding, but unfortunately we procrastinated and planned the majority of the wedding within the last few months. This resulted in us having to make rushed decisions and leaving out some of the little details of the big day. Luckily, everything worked out perfect and we loved all of our vendors, but it would have been much less stressful on us if we had not waited! </p>
