<p><strong>How did you two meet or how did you propose?: </strong><br>
   Jamie and I both grew up in Sandy, Utah and were high school sweet hearts. He followed me home from school one day and on the way asked me why I was walking alone...I was hooked from the beginning! We both went our separate ways for college and lost touch for a while. I moved to Arizona in 2003 and found out he had moved here. I called him up and we met for coffee. That was our second-chance beginning.</p>
<p><strong>Were you happy with the venue?:</strong> <br>
   Absolutely 100% happy. Kyli Miller with Wildtyme restaurant group is who does the weddings at Los Abrigados. She is very calm and responsive. She called me back immediately the first time I called her and we met with her that same day. She was very helpful with the entire planning process. I also hired her for my wedding day planner and she took care of everything. It was a stress-free day for me because of her.</p>
<p><strong>Describe the theme or color schem</strong><strong>e of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: <br>
</strong>I would say that it was an outdoor rustic theme with some Native American traditions. My friend Heather Stewart is my Martha Stewart and she did most of my decorations. We used a lot of picture frames and made little lunch box’s filled with a variety of fun things for the kids to enjoy during the reception and to take home. My brother is an artist and did a wedding fingerprint tree that we used in place of a book. We used fall colors for ink. Jamie is ½ Native American and it was very important to us to incorporate some of those traditions into our wedding. We were fortunate to have one of the elders and past chairman of my husband’s tribe give us a traditional Apache blessing/prayer. We also had everyone present stand and face the four cardinal directions with us. The Native American culture assigned virtues to the four cardinal directions; East, South, West, and North. As we faced each direction, we considered these virtues and aligned ourselves with these elements. I chose fall colors with an emphasis on Burgundy Wine color. This was important to me as we own a tasting room in Cottonwood, AZ. I chose a flat piece of wood for the centerpiece with burgundy and purple foliage in a mason jar. I placed small candles and stones with words engraved in them such as love, hope, and compassion around the wood. We had everyone take home a stone of their choice as the favor. </p>
<p><strong>What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day?: </strong><br>
    If funds allow, hire a wedding planner. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful. Even having a day-of planner is a huge help. If not, listen to your gut. People are full of suggestions but it is important to stay focused on yourself and your fiancé. That is who it is all about.</p>
    <p><strong>Tell us about your photographer. Why did you choose this photographer?: </strong><br>
    Were you happy with the whole experience? We were very lucky to find Taryn Ball with Love My Life photography though our officiant Janice Midkiff. I hired Janice with Ceremony of Love and ended up buying a package that included photography. Taryn is so sweet and easy to work with and her pictures our amazing! She captured every moment perfectly.</p>
