<p><strong>How did you two meet or how did he propose? </strong> We definitely didn't have one of those fancy fairy tale meetings, but to us it was just perfect and it ended up with us riding off together in the Arizona sunset on a scooter hehe :) The proposal was a couple of weeks before Christmas and we can never keep gifts from one another for long, so after Ricky's work party he decided to surprise me with a gift all wrapped up in a big wonderful box sealed with a kiss and lots of love!</p>
<p><strong>Were you happy with the venue?</strong> Totally happy! Honestly I never thought that we would pick a golf course...but I knew Orange Tree was perfect for us once we walked out to the gorgeous gazebo surrounded by beautiful green grass and huge mature trees in the background, not to mention the awesome water fountain in the nearby pond that created a really cool tranquil environment. The ballroom was a perfect size and had neutral colors that would match any of the themes I had in mind during the planning process. To top it off both Kristin Carter and Patty Packard were available any time I had a question or last minute change, which was extremely helpful and calming knowing that there would be no surprises!  </p>
<p><strong>Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception:</strong> The color scheme we went with was purple and grey/silver. We enjoy wine and have taken trips to wine country often so we wanted to incorporate it by placing a couple wine bottles on the tables that we painted and created different custom labels for, and then we put different flowers in each bottle along with a table number in one to form our centerpieces. Orange Tree also helped with providing us with so many options of linens to make sure they matched perfectly! </p>
<p><strong>What piece of advice would you give other brides planning<br>
  their big day? </strong>  I would say the best advice I ever got was that things are going to go wrong, but no one will notice them like you would (I promise). Just soak in as much of your amazing day that you worked so hard on for so long because before you know it, it will all be over. Oh and also make sure to sneak away at least once with your new hubby for a one on one kiss and to let each other know how much you love one another, because after all that’s the true meaning of it all! &lt;3</p>
