We really enjoyed putting all of the details together for the wedding---the groom was even happy about all of the choices as we really wanted it be a special day about both of us (so, we really worked on all of the details as a team)! My uncle married us, aunt helped put together all of our wedding bouquets and we had plenty of friends and family to surround us with lots of love throughout the day.</p> <p class="title"> Our colors were black, white and silver and we wanted a very modern spin on the décor---we ended up having tired pillars with floating white candles, black satin linens, black satin chair covers and white bands. We had black and white photos printed from our engagement session (each table had a different photo) in a black modern frame. All of the bridesmaids wore black taffeta dresses with black shoes and held white roses. The men all wore black tuxes with white shirts and had white boutonnières. Our flower girls wore black and white striped dresses with a fuchsia flower. The ceremony was very romantic occurring at 4pm at the outside Duck Pond and the reception was located at the Tohono Center at el Pedregal …. There was an incredible balcony next to the reception site where the cocktail hour took place with gorgeous views of the surrounding 12-million year old boulder piles and mountain landscape. <br> <br> The most special part of the evening was when my best friend/maid of honor sang us our first dance song--- “At Last by Etta James.” My maid of honor is actually a recording artist in LA so she performed the BEST version of the song! Our cake was beautiful adorned with black, white and silver decorations and a silver “G” atop to make the finishing touch! All of our guests received scratcher lottery tickets that said “Hope Our Luck Rubs Off On You” in our colors (Black, white and silver) with a silver nickel to scratch it off (all were put inside a beautiful silver envelope with a white ribbon). Dinner was fantastic and we ended the evening with a late night French fry bar with a variety of dipping sauces and a fifteen minute fireworks display that was over the top! <br> <br> Justin and I had an incredible day that ended with a beautiful villa-three bedroom suite filled with candles and champagne--- a great ending to the evening! We literally couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous setting and wonderful day.
