Content: My husband and I were engaged for a year and a half before getting
married. We looked at too many venues to count. After stumbling upon
portico we knew that was the venue for us. The owners, Kyle and Amy were in
constant contact with us during the planning process to answer any
questions and concerns. Besides the beautiful venue, and quick response
time from the owners, I was most impressed with one thing that I feel made
my day so much easier and stress free. At the rehearsal dinner I brought
boxes of all my decorations for the wedding. When I showed up on my wedding
day, almost all of the decorations were set up, and in the exact place I
wanted them without even telling Amy or her assistant. After the ceremony,
Kyle even took down the flowers I had decorated the altar with so I had
more time to enjoy my wedding. During the whole day they were there to help
me with whatever I needed. Amy was also my photographer for the wedding and
I was impressed with how she handled taking our photographs and cannot wait
to see how they turned out in a few weeks. For the price, location, and
helpfulness of the owners, I will forever recommend this location to anyone
I know planning a wedding. Thank you Kyle and Amy for helping make our
